This is a heart-shaped, pinbacked button measuring approximately 2.5" wide.

...is a small plastic shield that is pressed into the button, granting the outer surface of it water resistance. >>Due to the unique shape of the button, the top of the heart is slightly more vulnerable! Keep it away from rain.

...is a loop-and-hook, safety-pin style backing.

The pin in the back can be bent or slip; PVC/silicon earring backings or hot glue can be used to reduce slippage on clothes, hats, bags, etc.
While the mylar makes our buttons mostly water resistant, we do not recommend washing it under the faucet. Use a slightly dampened cloth to remove debris, avoiding the dimple at the top, and store in low-humidity conditions for the longest lifespan.
