Acrylic Products
Clear acrylic yellows over time?
Yup! This is true of all clear plastics. Even your old freezer tubs aren't yellowed from food - it's just a natural consequence of the photo- or thermal-oxidation.
We work with manufacturers that use plastics that are resistant to yellowing so that, if treated respectfully, your charms can stay lookin' fresh for years to come!
To avoid yellowing, keep your acrylic products out of extreme heat, such as your car in the summer, and direct sunlight, such as windowsills.
With how yellowing-resistant our acrylic products are, it's not really a big deal if you don't follow these guidelines. Epoxy finishes are a little more vulnerable to yellowing than flat finishes. Either way, it's YOUR little blorbo now, so you should do with it whatever you want. :)
Standee Care
Our standees have enough space to comfortably separate the pieces for ease of cleaning. (We have yet to break a show display doing so despite being especially clumsy!)
Acrylic standees are more resilient than their glass counterparts, but be advised that they can still break if knocked down. Be mindful of displaying them where pets or little ones might knock em down.
We advise using a microfiber cloth to wipe away dust, and a streak-free cleanser (water and vinegar in a 10:1 ratio works!) to polish it, if desired. The artwork is sealed behind a layer of acrylic, so don't worry about wiping it off with the dust!

Our acrylic charms all come with a keychain-style attachment, with metal jump rings between. The jump rings are ductile, meaning if the keychain is under stress (also read as: caught on something,) the jump ring will bend or break before the keychain does. "Jump ring kits" are fairly affordable if you'd like to have replacements on hand - or you can use our contact form to request a repair, if doing it yourself isn't an option.
If you do not like the available attachments, you can pick up alternatives on your shopping app of choice. Appropriate search terms include (but are not limited to) "lobster clasp" "shaped keychain attachment" and "phone strap." Hope this helps!
Shaker Charm Care
Shaker charms are just as durable as a standard charm, if slightly more vulnerable to extreme temperatures. The air inside can expand or contract, causing the outer acrylic to warp or the inner pieces to get stuck.

Stain Removal
FOOD STAINS
- Spray the stain with a 50/50 concoction of water and vinegar.
- Let sit for 5 minutes.
- Spray the stain again until soaked and blot away
- Wash with cool to lukewarm water
BLOOD STAINS
- Submerge stained area in lukewarm water with dish soap.
- Soak two to three hours.
- Drain and refill water.
- Add 1 cup Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) and 1 tbsp detergent to soak.
- Let soak for six hours.
- Rinse with cool water and then wash as usual.
OIL & GREASE STAINS
- Coat dry fabric in baking soda for 45 minutes.
- Brush / shake baking soda free.
- Repeat above steps for both sides of the fabric.
- Soak in mild dish soap for 5-10 minutes.
- Add directly to wash, or hand-wash if applicable.
Lanyards
Our lanyards come with a lariat clip on them that allows you to attach things such as keys or charms. Despite this, we do not recommend adding a significant amount of weight to it to avoid undue stress on your neck.
The lanyards are made of a polyester blend, and CAN be hand washed - the metal "bead" above the lanyard hook can be slid off or away to allow for your lanyard to fully air dry.
We recommend washing your lanyard every couple months to remove any sweat, dirt, or oils from your skin it may have absorbed. Regular washing can reduce the speed at which the print is occluded, as well as prevent breakouts and skin irritation.

Flattening Rolled Prints
Our 8.5"x11" prints are frequently shipped rolled in a 4"x4"x10" box, as we find that this is the least likely to get damaged in transit.
Our prints are full-bleed, which can be somewhat nerve wracking to handle. To flatten your print back out:
- Have clean, dry hands. Heavy oils or water residue can damage the print.
- Place the print on a clean, dry surface. Any crumbs present may indent the paper as you press it flat.
- Place books or flat, heavy objects on top. We use 5-10lbs of textbooks, usually. If you're worried about the surface of your weighted object abrading the print, include a layer of parchment or wax paper. Do NOT use plastics against the surface of the print, as it can damage the gloss finish.
- Let stand for 6-12 hours. This measurement is pretty inexact because we have a tendency to set it up and forget about it. Maybe set an alarm so you don't end up like us. XD
Displaying Your Prints
The size of your print will always be in the listing description. Our standard sizes are 8.5"x11" and 4"x4".
Our "large" prints are deliberately sized that way so that you can transport, store, or collect them into accessibly sized binder sleeves. We recommend choosing acid-free sleeves, if possible.
When searching for frames, we recommend searching for "document frames", as the size is considered a "document" size instead of a common "photo" size.
Mounting the photo directly to the wall? No judgement! We love to collage our wall up with all manner of art. We recommend using Frog Tape or mounting putty on the back of your print to minimize damage.
Zines
Our zines are all printed in our home-office on standard printer paper. If you damage 'em and need to replace 'em, you can print off more copies from this link.
Stationery
Stickers
The stickers are UV and water resistant, but not made specifically for vehicles, so it may leave a gummy residue if left to the elements.
We've stress tested our stickers for a few months now and have discovered the following:
- It goes onto clean vehicles just fine and the ink does not fade. We have no idea how it comes off.
- The stickers have an outer laminate that may peel off over time, so we do not recommend extreme heat or abrasives or clean the surface. (hand wash only.)

Washi Tape
Our washi tape is NOT waterproof. It's got much more in common with painter's tape than scotch tape, and can be used much the same - to mask small illustrations, or to affix notes to smooth surfaces or around the office.
As an experiment, we washi taped an acrylic charm to our fridge a week ago. It's still cleanly affixed.
Like any roll of painters' tape, our washi tape can be damaged by extreme temperatures or pick up dust. We recommend storing it in a drawer, in a clean area on a washi stand, or in the box provided with your washi tape.
