Why are cryptids so cool? What is a cryptid? Our favorite part about cryptids is their impact on tourism and how locals will band together to help put cryptids on the map! Cryptids are local legends, like the loch ness monster or bigfoot, that may or may not have whimsical or cool stories and facts to back it up. Fun places to start are the lore behind the loveland frog, or the jersey devil.
