The paper is acid-free bristol board (cardstock that won't yellow easily over time,) and the illustration is made using archival quality pens and inks (so they are fade and wear resistant.) All trading cards come in a thick, acid-free, brand-name, transparent trading card sleeve that's only a step down from a toploader case. Some of our patrons from 8+ years ago have come by and shown us commissions made with these materials (kept lovingly in their wallets) and they're still in great shape!

While fade resistant, a few years in consistent and direct sunlight may cause fade. For greatest longevity, don't place facing out the window. Grease or oil may stain the paper; wash hands before removing from its' sleeve. Paper or cardstock is susceptible to humidity; if placed into long term storage, consider storing with spare silica packets or another desiccant.
